A group of creative researchers at City University of Hong Kong have created a beautiful interactive musical experience using a webcam, pico projector, and arduino based servo motor-driven hammers.  The user places chess pieces onto a surface and, based on the configuration of those pieces, the glockenspiel plays a beautiful tune.  Very creative work!
